who we are
Blue Mountain Audubon Society was organized to serve its membership and its community in the goals to appreciate, preserve, and enjoy birds and wildlife and the natural environment in the local area, and beyond. Through volunteer efforts, BMAS provides education, conservation, and enjoyment opportunities to members and to the public.
The Chapter meets on the third Thursday of the month, 7:30 p.m. September through May at Gaiser Auditorium, Science Building, Whitman College campus, Walla Walla, WA.
Parking is available behind Harper Joy Theater and the Science Building. If you enter the first door from the parking lot, you should turn right and you will find the auditorium to your left at the end of that hallway. If you enter from inside the campus, Gaiser will be down the stairs to your right.
The Magpiper, Chapter newsletter, is published nine months of each calendar year.
BMAS is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization.
