November 18 - 2007 - Turkey Trot

Tom Scribner and 18 other Blue Mountain Audubon members and friends braved the rain and cold to scour Walla Walla and Columbia counties for wild turkeys. They weren’t hard to find – 365 of them! This breaks the previous record of 333 found in 2005. Despite the inclement weather, the group was able to find some nice birds including two separate pygmy owls. Total species seen: 38
